Measures against COVID-19
We’ve created this page to support our clients, bringing together all the information and decisions taken by our bank in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During this period, we understand that many customers are facing a number of difficulties, including the payment of monthly instalments on your loans. We applied the measures of Government Ordinance no. 37/2020 regarding the suspension of the payment of the installments related to the credits, for the requests received from you.

Starting with May 18, 2020, all the Crédit Agricole Romania branches will resume their usual schedule, in the context of the relaxation of the measures against COVID-19.

Platinum MasterCard Crédit Agricole is the only contactless Platinum card in Romania that offers you simultaneous access to 3 accounts in different currencies: LEI, EUR and USD.
All the CA Romania branches offer hand sanitizers.
Our staff members are equipped with masks and gloves to prevent the risk of infection and the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
As additional measures to limit the direct contact between bank employees and clients, protective screens were installed and stickers indicating the recommended safety distance of 1.5 m were applied.
Crédit Agricole Bank Romania SA wishes to draw your attention to the possible fraud activities that can be registered in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this regard, we recommend increased vigilance on:
– messages/emails/calls received from various entities regarding the request for payments for the treatment of infected relatives or acquaintances;
– emails received from apparent national or global health authorities requesting the provision of personal information, making payments or opening attachments about protection measures, the situation of COVID-19 cases, etc., which may contain malware files;
– payments made to suppliers of medical and prevention equipment and accessories used in the healthcare system;
– beneficiaries of donations and other actions against spreading the COVID-19 virus.
The Crédit Agricole Bank team carries out continuous activities for the security of your personal data and funds. For any transaction made to a suspicious beneficiary, we recommend contacting the bank’s representatives.
We support the civil society during the COVID-19 crisis
During this time when the world is facing unprecedented challenges, CA Romania encourages solidarity and joins the fight to combat the coronavirus pandemic and its effects on our society.
Thus, CA Romania supports the initiatives of the ”Daruieste viata” Association with funds that will be used to equip the frontline medical staff and hospitals from all over the country with adequate equipment and supplies, but also to help raising a modular hospital for the serious cases of COVID-19 infection.
Moreover, CA Romania supports education and donates 100 computers to the ”Ateliere Fara Frontiere” Association, an NGO that aims at social, professional and civic insertion of vulnerable persons.
As the schools were closed due to the pandemic, these children, who do not own computers at home, no longer have access to resources, information and online courses.
